We recently visited a past project that is giving us new life! We completed the Glebe Project three years ago and finally had the chance to photograph this modern classic design nestled in Ottawa’s busy downtown core. Let’s take a look at all the details!

IN GRAND STYLE
One of the most impressive spaces in this home is the sizeable principal ensuite. We chose large-scale floor tile and counter-to-ceiling mirrors to lean into the drama while maintaining clean, modern lines. The oversized floating vanity maximizes both the space and storage while keeping the bathroom light and airy. Soft touches of brass paired with classic black accents add moody elegance and a finished look.

PURPOSEFUL & PERSONAL
Minimalistic, clean design doesn’t have to be uninviting or impersonal. Our clients wanted to keep the concept for their main bedroom and main bathroom simple, while also highlighting carefully selected details. We consider our client’s personal and functional needs first and foremost when designing a space. In the end, this always helps to create special moments throughout.

EMBRACE ARCHITECTURAL MOMENTS
This home is filled with “wow” moments throughout—especially the staircase! Four flights in black, white oak, and glass instantly draw the eye in. We kept the wall and fixture details minimal to really let this architectural moment shine!

TOUCHES OF WARMTH
Warm finishes throughout the Glebe Project pay homage to the home’s downtown Ottawa location. An exposed brick wall with open shelving, the dramatic wood ceiling detail, and walnut cabinets contrast beautifully with the white island. Custom pendants, counter stools, and hardware with soft touches of brass complete a warm urban look.
