The Weekly Warmth is a reminder to take time for yourself—something I’m always making an effort to do throughout our often hectic business and family schedule. Here, I share a weekly collection of fashion, cooking, lifestyle, and design favourites, along with uplifting stories, helpful tips, and more. With the Weekly Warmth, we can all come back to a creative space and find special moments in the everyday.
This week, I'm talking 2022 design trends, fashion inspiration, and things I'm looking forward to in the New Year! I hope you draw inspiration from the little things that brought me warmth this week.

Both myself and the LD Design Team are loving the upholstered frame trend we’re seeing in furniture! We’re expecting this look to take off in 2022. Look for this trend in chairs, sofas, and ottomans where top-to-bottom fabric upholstery really shines. The Fidel Dining Chair is one of our favourite examples!
With so much progress already made, we cannot wait to keep moving on LD Cabin in the New Year! This elevated luxury escape rental in the Mont Tremblant region has been a longtime dream for us, and it’s amazing to see it come to life. Stay tuned for more updates and sneak peeks—it's all moving so quickly!
One of my personal goals for the New Year is to continue my quick at-home workouts. This is something I started a few months ago and they help me gear up or wind down from a big day. These 20-minute sessions from Pamela Reif are easy to follow and fit into my daily routine.
I’m adding knit halter-style tops to my 2022 wardrobe. They can be layered and styled in so many ways under a blazer or jacket, and will easily transition into spring and summer. This one comes in SO many great colours!
By now you know that audiobooks are my go-to way to get some reading done. This new list from Marie Claire has me excited for 2022 titles! Whether you’re looking for something intense or imaginative, these picks all have promising reviews.
Pantone’s Colour of the Year is always exciting—but I was recently inspired by selections in their Fashion Colour Trend Report from New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2022. Perfectly Pale 13-003 TCX and Northern Droplet 14-4104 TCX are both relaxing hues with a timeless feel that I can envision using in upcoming projects.
With love & gratitude ♥,
