The aim of this home office project was to create a serene work environment for two busy professionals. Located at the front of the home, the room receives plenty of natural light and is set conveniently apart from their three kids’ main play area at the rear of the house. The directive was simple: bright, minimal refuge for reading & working in peace. Modern millwork stretches along the side wall and offers a work surface as well as ample concealed storage for things like file folders and a printer and open shelving to display personal treasures & decor. The whispery grey-green colour of the millwork adds gentle contrast and depth to the space while still keeping everything soft and calming.
